From fantasies, sports, and others, one of the best room themes is the jungle or the safari theme in the room of your beloved children. Aside of its exotic accent because you are like in the wild, safari themed room can be educational. From your kids identify the different animals in the zoo; you can also include other facts of the animals to make the room like a mini jungle museum.
But there are something the designers intrigue about on how the room to be designed safari style. Striking animal prints, lush vegetation, and exotic African art, provide a decorating pallet that’s hard to resist. These are the pointers that you must remember:
Walls
Colors that suit the walls for these kind of rooms are deep browns to emphasize the wood and shadow effects of the wild. It also includes the colors, burnt oranges, golds, tans, and creams.
Once the wall is covered, it’s the time that you can put a jungle print borders and images or posters of your favorite animals. Animals that had a far view are more suitable because it shows the background of the wild that adds life to the wall. Exotic masks that those are seen on the wild man are suitable to hang on the wall; animal print tapestries are another attractive option. African mud cloths, or cotton wall hangings depicting colored mud paintings of tribal scenes, lend an authentic look. But if you can afford you can add a mannequin like tribal people to enhance the wild look of your room.

Rugs
Rugs play a big role on our project. Rugs can complement the character of the floor for the looks of the room is spiced up. It gives like a soil or grass effects, depends on the type of scene you want to implement in your room.
If you have hardwood floors, area rugs can complement the jungle theme. If you don’t have animal tapestry, a zebra print rug or faux fur carpet is a better way to put animal prints on the floor. Otherwise, straw mats can complement the theme by offering a natural, outdoorsy ambiance.

Furniture
To harmonize every detail the furniture also gives an ace to the theme; the main point is that it must be made of natural wood, the better. The theme is best accentuated with dark wood pieces. Decorators who already have their furniture can accent it with wood pieces such as benches or trunks. Well polished furniture is not recommended because it will lessen the jungle theme of our room. Rough materials in suitable but it is limited for the safety of your child

in terms of the tables, some creative ideas for coffee tables, in-tables, or nightstands include large African drums, and African baskets or pottery jars topped with a piece of glass. Putting mini animal figurine or miniature animal toys are helpful.
Applying safari theme in ones room is not easy, from buying new details to your room to planning it in placing the right things into the right place. The most important thing is that you must enjoy the outcome of the results and be comfortable to your newly make-over room.
